In summary, here's what to do at the beginning:
1. Immediately build an Academy, and assign 30 workers to the sawmill.
2. Once the Academy is finished, assign 8 scientists and begin researching Well Digging.
3. Upgrade Academy to level 2, assign 12 scientists.
4. Start the upgrade to level 3. Immediately reduce the number of sawmill workers, probably to about 10.
5. Once the upgrade is finished, assign 16 scientists. You may need to reduce the workers to 5, and you'll still have negative gold income. Don't worry, you'll break even before it runs out.
TIP TO GET MORE MONEY: Get less ppl to dig for wood or do research in order to increase your income per hr. the more citizens u got, the faster the income, research wines so ur ppl will start sexing n reproduce. Until you have a good amt of money, then send them back to researching.
For example, let say u use 16 ppl to research a subject, and it will take 1 hr to finish, your income will be let say 5 gold per hr, so before u goto sleep tonight, set the amt of ppl to like 2, and it will take about 8 hrs to finish, but your gold per hr will be 120 per hr, therefore you make money, and you'll be sleeping anyway so the 8 hr won't bother u much.
